The Ipoh Food Trail

(this is the continue from the previous post)
First of all, i would like to thank Tourism Malaysia and Tourism Ipoh because invite me to feel the experience, the excitement and taste the famous food in Ipoh.

and yes, like i said before, me and Pae woke up late.
not that late lah but super late.
both of us woke up on 715am and the train will leave on 8am.
chare kan?
he called me and i called him every 5minutes kot.
yang penting call sambil jerit2 maki hamun salahkan antara satu sama lain.
hado?
arrived KL Sentral sharp 8am.
and both of us running and feeling like Amazing Race.
again, Hado?

went Ipoh by ETS.
a new train which it is use a electric power and the speeding quite good.
and the hospitality and service of the train is super awesome.
im so satisfied with the service given.
and i highly recommend you guys to try.
bole balek kg, plus the ticket price is reasonable.

once arrived, we went to the Museum for the first event.
treasure hunt! ke?
oh, first of all we get to know each other lah kan.
and the media and the travel agent from Ipoh such as Ipoh Echo, Isky Travel, Aidil Travel etc.

new media friends, all of them are cool people. hye semua!

aha, the treasure hunt! we have to find the answer. all the answer are in the museum.
pfft, sejarah? again? duhh -_-"
and the winner for this contest is, obviously lah not my group.
(so i dont have to upload the image lah kan since im not the winners)

and the First Location-to-eat is Restaurant Tasek Raban, Ipoh.
(near the stadium)

the restaurant serve you a million of masakan kampung.
*jangan nak million sangat lah kiwak*
the taste are awesome, awesome and awesome.
meleleh dohh!
you can eat all type of ulam ulam, tempoyak, kerabu mangga, ikan patin, ikan batin, mermaid pun ade toqqq.
tak caye? go there and feel the taste lah der..!

the the next stop is we visit the beauty of Gua Tempurung.
and the tourist guide dia membebel all the time and show us the form of the cave made by the calsium or whatever it is. i dont focus much on him.
too many form lah toqqq, bentuk gajah lah, buaya lah, bentuk kereta honda city pun ade toqq. (oke itu tipu)
and.. what i do BEHIND the tourist guide is.... jeng, jeng, jeng... (nervous ke tidak?)

amek gambar sane sinilah toqq, ape lagi. takpe nanti aku Google je all the form tuh. haha
done the visit , and we gonna go to the next site.
they back by the bus. not me, im flying. malaikat jemput gune cahaya iman aku. KATENYE!

macam angel tak toqq? baruah nye aku.

and the next stop is, my favorite place.
Restoren Mee Rebus Ramli.
(at the Ipoh City)

omg omg oh em geeee!
sumpah terbaik toqq. tak tipu lu der. terrbaekkkk wokk.
after done melantak the mee rebus, they serve Laksa lah pullak!

and we end our day with dessert at Dubliner's Cafe.
(near the Nasi Vangey Ipoh. known as Nasi Ganja. the trademark!)
Dubliners Cafe is own by a muslim chef who has an experience working as a professional chef at Dublin for many years. He came back to Malaysia to start his own business and all the western food is a hand made recipe. plus, the price is so cheap. and plus plus jugak, all the makanan here is HALOL'latoyiban..!

the dessert is so making me melting.
rase dia sangat romantik! rase nak romen romen sajoh!

and the food testing. Smoked Salmon and Galleon Beef Steak
*sorry i tak hapal the beef steak tu nye name actually. lidah melayu uols, mmg lah tak hapal lah kot yer.

and then, we went to Hot Spring The Lost World of Tambun.
"Perut kenyang, and then berendam, tidakkah itu mengundang namanya, tuan puteri..?" -again, script aku yang gampang keluar kembali. maafin daku, maafin daku...
**sorry, we dont take the pictures. wanna know why? all of us kekolongan a.k.a kene rasuk bile nampak kolam renang. so sumorang menggelupo macam terencat sebab tak sabar nak mandi. choi sangat kan?
And, tidak lupe kepada mak hayems besar tambun, Kak Mazian. nanti kite cucuk lagit lagi yer kak?

And the Next Day we started our breakfast at The Ipoh Hainan Chicken Rice
(at Geentown Suria)

the food is so healthy food you know. and sedap gilak! berebut kot kitorg nak makan!
i dont know what is that, roti pita or pita tape something like that but the taste is fricking awesome meh!

after that, we went to the Heritage Walk which is the tourist guide bring us to a walk at the sunny hot fricking day. And, the best part is, our Tourist Giude seems like no penat at all wa cakap lu. Cakap non-stop uols. KAU MAMPU? AKU TAK MAMPU DIK NON.

we walk walk fashion tak berape nak fashion sangat lah punye walk,
we lunch at Restaurant Fuziah - Nasi Ayam Bazar Bulat 1980

they serve nasi ayam. ayam ayam ayam. my perut full with ayam.
the price is RM5/plate, and the hempedal or hempedu or idk the name is RM1.50/plate

done with Nasi Ayam, we went to the Kellies Castle.
the historical, the building and the art, is so mysterious.
hebat kan ayat aku. haha.
after the Castle Trip, we went makan Satay, ABC and Popiah.

After that, Balik KL lah toqq.
i really had fun. seriously.

the funny people

greeting!
pheww, just done working!
started 6am on Friday 17June2011.
i went to Templer Park, Rawang to shot the new poster for TV9 drama series.
phew! its god damn tired!
the best part is, i went to my ex classmate (pae) which is my besties lah kan.
i drove to the location.
the funny thing is,
me + pae = SESAT
yeah. but we manage it to be there on time.
its super enjoy because we're working with funny people.
such as, Norkhiriah, Ida Moin, Mak Uda, etc.
the best part is i really like to habg with is Ida Moin.
reason?
the melatah part. aha, makanan aku sangat!
and we arrived home about 4am i guess.

pae and norkhiriah strikes a pose right after done with the photo shot.

and laytah, on the next day 7am 18June2011 Saturday,
(which is i woke up late)
i have to go to Ipoh Food Trail.
arrived sharp 8am which is ETS is about to leave on 8am.
yeah, me and pae are super hucking late.
berlari lah kot yer.
we went there until 19June2011.
Great Experience though!
will post a new story later.

my assignment is i need to do a profile for a new girl group named Chocolate
basically, what i need to do is, they gave me a full blast of trust to make the single cover for them.
also the for media release for them lah kan.

Chocolate is a new group which is they sang a catchy retro type of genre.
and they is Alyah's protoge.
I've heard the songs. its cool. can catch my ears la.
so, i highly recommend you guys to hear their new song.

me and 9 of my classmate went to Melaka for interview session.
it was fun though.

even though it was a long day of interview session,
and with a empty stomach,
and out-of-cigar for real,
and first thing when i saw the studio
it was WOW.
i was impress with the studio arrangement.

the result was out,
and i didn't make it.
things happen for reason.
positive thinking of mine.

its dinner actually. sigh".
tried to find the best title for it but obviously i failed.
by the way, this post is all about our last day.
it is sort of like graduation ceremony la konon nye. grad pon tak lagi padahal.

some of the craziest people.
and the person who wore batik is my supervisor, our coordinator programmed and our lecturer, En Nik.

it just a last dinner for my batch : the final student of photography '08 - '10.
it was held at The Grand Blue Wave Shah Alam on the end of May.
(tak ingat tarikh. jangan tanye)

it is quite sad moment actually.
yalah, they are the craziest friends in my batch i ever had
(jangan nak peribadi sangat la derr..)
well, the theme for the dinner is black and white which is i didn't know the theme was changed.
and i wore pajamas and came for the dinner.
(aku hingat tema die back to school, so aku pakai la pijamas.ala ala baru bagun tido la konon,walhal)
yalah, at first 'back to school' was the theme meh.

at least i got white high heels and black pants. kene la jugak kan.

we done a stupid performance which is we didn't plan at all.
among of my friends was working as a photographer at the convocation on the day.
and we don't have a time to discuss or what ever it is.
so, nyanyi la lagu peterpan ngn hujan. walaupun semua tatau lyric. hentam sajoh.
ape yang aku dengar just hmmm hmmm hmm hmm (ikut iringan music)
lepas tuh repeat chorus sampai habis lagu. lawak kan?

not because i scared or coward. or or suddenly felt a rock hitting my head and realized my fault. not at all.
just the word that i have used is so unappropriated.
i admit, my fault for insulted around.

yah,today its 31st August 2009; Happy Merdeka people! and it is puasa lah kan.
as usual, the housemates got their on plan. which i know at the first place
just im not sure whether it is on or not.
about 1pm, they canceled on the last minute.
but the best thing is, about 2pm, one of my housemate
( ehfan ) told my ex housemate ( rozlan ) with this reason :

"alaa, cancel ke? shaker dah kempunan sangat dah nak makan nasik kerabu..."
and i was like.. ok. haha. what a reason.

and rozlan texted ehfan, told him that he will bring me to tesco
for shopping the ingredients! yay!
pergi tesco! pergi tesco!
after done with shopping, we started to main masak masak la.

and of course, im the only one who paling rajin tolong.

rajin facebooking. what a day. la la la.

no lah. im helping with the fish which i hate it but have to.

"oh god, i killed the fish." sumpah bau sangat sedap

when i done with my practical thingy, at last the issue came out.remember when i post about photoshoot with dato' farah khan for few month back

well, the picture is already out on Harpers Bazaar August's issue.i am so happy. eventho im not the main photographer just an assistant, its ok. i am fully satisfied.it such a great experience though.i learn lots of things.and Dato' FK, she is super cool and gorgeous aswell.

plus harpers bazaar credited my name in the issue. hehheh.

last week i got a consultation with my lecturer.
the thing is, he know what am i doin outside.
not my social life like going to club or so-what-ever ok.
im a very good good boy. *katenye lah kan.
he knows that im working outside and
he told me that people outside are talk about me.
feeewit~kembang jubo den 5 saat.
well, that is not i wanted. all i wanted is to take a famous photograph.
i just go and talk.
thank god people like my work.

he told me that im involved with professional status.

ah, moral of the story, he looked at my artwork and
he told me to buy a photographer's
portfolio book and some fundemental book.
he said that he is chucking sure that i can afford it since my rate is change la katenye.
